Why Carthage?
“I chose Carthage because of the small class sizes and the hands-on approach to learning.”
Faculty mentors
“At Carthage, the theatre faculty have made me feel so supported. I know I can go to them with questions I might have around my future career and academics at Carthage. Outside of the Theatre Department, I’ve had some wonderful experiences with multiple professors getting to know me on more of a personal level. All of this helps to build a more community-based approach here at Carthage.”
Favorite class
“My favorite class has been Play Production II: Costumes and Makeup. I learned so much about stage makeup and how to sew. The course even gave me the chance to learn a bit about designing costumes. The class always had a fun atmosphere, and Professor Kim Instenes was an amazing teacher.”
