Studio art and art education portfolio reviews
Scholarships are awarded based upon a review of the applicant’s visual portfolio by faculty of the Art Department. You will have the opportunity to share and discuss your portfolio with art faculty — talking about your ideas, materials, process, and aspirations as a developing artist. In-person reviews include a personal tour of the studio art facilities with a member of the faculty.
What to bring to your portfolio review
-
A portfolio consisting of a minimum of 15 of your best art pieces in a variety of media: drawing, painting, animation, printmaking, video, photography, digital art, ceramics, metal, wood, etc. This may be work you have made in school and/or outside of classes. Sketchbooks are welcome!
- For in-person reviews, please bring the actual artworks.

- One letter of recommendation (preferably from a teacher or mentor)
TIPS FOR SELECTING WORK FOR YOUR PORTFOLIO
